Tester:
On behalf of our IT client, Procom is searching for a Tester for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Regina office.

Tester - Job Description:
A Tester is needed to perform testing on IT systems, providing feedback and assisting with the development of test strategies and plans. The project involves testing new application functionalities, integrations, conversions, and reports.

Tester - Responsibilities:
• Contribute to the development, establishment, and communication of test plans and standards.
• Analyze documentation and specifications to identify functionality gaps.
• Design and execute test cases and scripts.
• Identify, investigate, and report defects and issues.
• Record and communicate test progress and results to stakeholders.
• Create and update documentation and training materials.
• Participate in trainings and demos.
• Investigate issues before and after implementation.
• Manage and configure test tools and templates.

Tester - Mandatory Skills:
• Minimum seven years of direct experience in system testing for large IT projects.
• Solid knowledge of software development life cycles and testing processes.
• Experience in agile and hybrid projects.
• Demonstrated communication skills at all organizational levels.
• Experience with Jira.
• Substantial exposure to project-based work structures.
• Experience with SQL.

Tester – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with test automation.

Tester – Assignment Length:
6-months with potential extension(s).

Regina, SK, onsite.
