On behalf of our Engineering client, Procom is searching for a Thermal Mechanical Engineering Team Lead for a permanent role. This position is onsite at our client’s Calgary office.

Thermal Mechanical Engineering Team Lead - Job Description:
As the Thermal Mechanical Engineering Team Lead, you will lead a team responsible for the design and development of Direct Liquid Cooling products. You will ensure technical excellence and timely execution of projects, collaborating with industry partners to drive improvements and adopt best-in-class technologies.

Thermal Mechanical Engineering Team Lead - Responsibilities:
• Oversee the technical design process for Direct Liquid Cooling products
• Manage team workload, prioritize tasks, and delegate effectively
• Collaborate with external parties to support technical decision-making and continuous improvement
• Work with other departments to define cross-functional roles and responsibilities
• Act as the point of contact for design standards and engineering processes

Thermal Mechanical Engineering Team Lead - Mandatory Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar disciplines
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
• Strong understanding of thermal design and fluid dynamics concepts
• Deep understanding of mechanical design and engineering
• Strong CAD design skills
• Leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team
• Strong cross-functional communication skills

Thermal Mechanical Engineering Team Lead – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• 3+ years of people management or technical leadership experience
• Experience with high-volume production for industrial products
• Possess P.Eng designation or similar professional credentials

Thermal Mechanical Engineering Team Lead – Assignment Length:
This is a permanent position.
