Trade Compliance Specialist:
On behalf of our Trade and Logistics client, Procom is searching for a Trade Compliance Specialist for a 6-month role. This position is an onsite position at our client’s Orlando, Florida office.

Trade Compliance Specialist - Job Description:
This role supports the trade compliance team in executing international trade operations. The Trade Compliance Specialist is responsible for maintaining export/import shipment documentation, assisting in product classification, and evaluating country of origin. The role involves ensuring compliance with U.S. Government laws and the client's internal policies, while also supporting cross-functional work teams.

Trade Compliance Specialist - Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate HTS code classification and country of origin determination for all imported/exported products.
• Assist in applying proper U.S. Customs Valuation methods.
• Review and maintain import/export documentation (commercial invoice, packing lists, certificates of origin).
• Track international shipments for customs delay and regulatory holds.
• Support the implementation of Customs programs such as Duty Drawback, Temporary Import Bonds, etc.
• Assist in the coordination with customs brokers and freight forwarders for providing pre-clearance and shipping instructions.
• Support ERP integration of trade compliance data (e.g., SAP material master).
• Assist with internal audits and documentation, including pre and post CBP entry reviews.
• Provide reporting on trade compliance metrics and duty exposure.

Trade Compliance Specialist - Mandatory Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Business, or related field, or equivalent experience (5+ years).
• 3+ years in trade compliance, customs, or international logistics.
• Basic knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations and Foreign Trade Regulations.
• Experience using ERP systems such as SAP.
• Experience with Trade Automation/SW solutions.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

Trade Compliance Specialist – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with duty drawbacks, FTZs, or CTPAT.
• Ability to motivate and initiate change.
• Comfortable working with a team.
• Passion for creating relationships.

Trade Compliance Specialist – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month assignment with the expectation it will be extended.
