Training Consultant

On behalf of our client, Procom is looking for a bilingual French-English Training Consultant to join our clients Global Training Services team, supporting Government of Canada customers and related public sector training initiatives.

The Training Consultant is responsible for certifying on and delivering Dayforce product training to customers, internal employees, and partners, with a primary focus on Government of Canada audiences. This role delivers training virtually to support customer adoption, enablement, and success.

This role operates in a dynamic environment with regular introductions of new Dayforce product functionality. The Training Consultant must stay current on Dayforce capabilities, understand customer business needs, and deliver clear, engaging, and effective learning experiences in both French and English.

Due to the nature of the work, candidates must meet Government of Canada security and eligibility requirements, including eligibility to obtain or maintain Canadian Protected B security clearance.

Essential Functions

· Learn and maintain certification on Dayforce HCM configuration functionality, including HR, Benefits, Talent, Workforce Management, Dayforce Platform, Payroll, and other product areas as required.

· Deliver Dayforce standard training virtually to Government of Canada customers, internal employees, and partners.

· Facilitate training in both French and English for diverse learner groups.

· Stay current on Dayforce product functionality to meet business demands and ensure effective training delivery.

· Demonstrate a proactive and continuous learning mindset by staying engaged with product communities and available enablement resources.

· Troubleshoot customer training issues ranging from moderate to advanced in nature.

· Demonstrate agility, strong time management, and strong project management skills to achieve successful training outcomes.

· Collaborate with internal and external teams to identify and meet training needs for customers, staff, and partners.

· Display an understanding of customers’ business environments and needs, especially within Government of Canada contexts.

· Capture and relay customer information to effectively consult and collaborate on training needs and solutions.

· Tailor or customize training content for consultative engagements using customer-specific data, business processes, and scenarios.

· Deliver profitable consulting and custom training engagements using customer data, as appropriate.

· Support the creation, review, or refinement of training materials, job aids, facilitator guides, learner resources, and digital learning assets.

· Partner with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure training content is accurate, current, accessible, and aligned to learner needs.

· Provide effective guidance and coaching to junior and peer Training Specialists and Training Consultants, as needed.

· Articulate key Dayforce HCM messaging related to product functionality, implementation, education, and support.

· Work with team members to meet departmental goals and support customer satisfaction targets.

· Achieve key utilization targets on a quarterly basis.

· Ensure administrative and operational excellence by completing assigned training, submitting time entry, submitting expense reports, and responding to internal and external communications within required timelines.

Educational, Skill, and Experience Requirements

· Fluency in French and English.

· Experience delivering training to customer, internal, or partner audiences.

· Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills in both French and English.

· Ability to deliver effective virtual training.

· Ability to quickly learn and communicate new concepts clearly and confidently.

· Strong customer-facing skills, with the ability to consult, collaborate, and adapt training to customer needs.

· Strong time management, organizational, and project management skills.

· Experience using Microsoft Office and web collaboration tools, including Teams, WebEx, Zoom, and/or learning management systems.

· Understanding of end-to-end learning project steps from initial assignment through final delivery.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing quality.

· Must be eligible to work on Government of Canada projects.

· Must be eligible to obtain or currently hold Canadian Protected B security clearance.

· Must meet applicable Canadian residency and citizenship requirements for Government of Canada security clearance.

Preferred

· Previous experience delivering Dayforce or HCM product training.

· Experience supporting Government of Canada or public sector customers.

· Experience delivering training in complex enterprise or technical platform environments.

· Experience creating or editing digital learning content.

· Experience using Articulate, including Articulate Rise or Storyline.

· Understanding of accessibility and inclusive design principles.

· Web Services development, XSLT, XML, or SQL experience is an asset.

Working Environment and Physical Demands

· Remote work environment.

· Some travel (up to 30%) may be required based on customer demand.

· Virtual training delivery is expected; onsite training delivery may be required at time.

· Work involve supporting training across all Canadian time zones.
