Training Specialist - Senior:
On behalf of our Government Services client, Procom is searching for a Training Specialist - Senior for a 12-month role. This position is onsite 5 days a week at our client’s Toronto, Ontario office.

Training Specialist - Senior - Job Description:
This role involves working on a critical project concerning training programs for Justice Video Network technologies. The Training Specialist will coordinate and lead the development, delivery, and evaluation of training programs and materials, including e-learning modules and user manuals.

Training Specialist - Senior - Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and provide leadership for the planning, design, development, delivery, evaluation, and support of training programs and materials
• Deliver required on-site and virtual training to JVN end-users
• Coordinate and assist with development of graphic user interface designs and user acceptance test cases
• Coordinate user acceptance testing
• Prepare and deliver reports, training, and associated communication products
• Tailor training delivery methods based on the needs of various user groups

Training Specialist - Senior - Mandatory Skills:
• Hands-on technical expertise with deep familiarity with Audio Visual and Video Conferencing hardware and platforms
• Strong writing skills for training/user manual creation with attention to detail
• Scenario-based and practical teaching style with real use cases
• Ability to translate complex technical terms into plain language
• Oral and written communication skills, interpersonal and consultative skills, facilitation skills
• Experience with software applications including word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software, web-based facilitation tools, and eLearning software
• At least 5 years of audio and videoconferencing technology experience

Training Specialist - Senior – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experienced with Adobe Captivate
• Familiar with AODA requirements for both interactive e-learning and written manuals
• Knowledge of adult education principles/practices
• Experience in tailoring training delivery methods based on the needs of various user groups
• Public sector experience

Training Specialist - Senior – Assignment Length:
This is a 12-month contract with the potential for extension.

ASAP.

Training Specialist - Senior - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, onsite 5 days a week.
