Job Description

BMO is currently sourcing for a UAT Tester – Private Wealth to support a large-scale statement and data validation initiative within BMO's Private Wealth division.
This is a hybrid contract role in {city not specified} (2 days in office per week).

Role Overview

This 12-month contract supports User Acceptance Testing for BMO Private Wealth applications and wealth management product statements. You will execute test cases, manage defects, validate data accuracy and integrity, and work with business and technology teams to ensure regulatory compliance and quality standards are met before production deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute User Acceptance Testing test cases against Wealth product statements and related systems, documenting results and managing defects through to resolution
• Develop and maintain UAT documentation including test strategies, test plans, test cases, execution results, and regulatory sign-off documentation
• Coordinate testing schedules, facilitate defect triage sessions, and provide regular status updates to project stakeholders
• Validate data accuracy and identify system or process gaps that support remediation and post-production validation
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technology teams to resolve issues and confirm successful implementation of fixes
• Triage and manage requests through the Analytics team mailbox, ensuring timely responses and follow-up
• Provide project support throughout the full lifecycle, including planning, requirements review, testing, implementation, and post-production activities

Must-Have Skills

• 4+ years of User Acceptance Testing, Quality Assurance, or Business Testing experience in Financial Services
• Strong understanding of Wealth Management applications, products, and business processes
• Proven experience executing UAT test cases, documenting results, and managing defects
• Experience creating and maintaining test plans, test cases, execution results, and UAT documentation for audit and compliance
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in identifying data and functional discrepancies
• Hands-on experience with defect tracking and test management tools
• Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively with business and technology stakeholders

Nice to Have Skills

• Prior experience with BMO or other banking organizations

Ideal Candidate

• Background in Private Wealth, statement services, or financial data validation environments
• Experience supporting regulated financial services initiatives and compliance requirements
• Familiarity with large-scale data or statement migration or transformation projects
