Job Description
BMO is currently sourcing for a UAT Tester.
This is a hybrid contract role in Toronto (2 days in office per week).
Role Overview:
This role supports the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) initiatives for BMO Private Wealth applications, focusing on a large-scale statement and data validation project. The UAT Tester will ensure business requirements are accurately validated before production deployment, contributing to the accuracy, integrity, and regulatory compliance of client wealth statements and related data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute comprehensive UAT test cases and document results to validate system enhancements.
- Track, manage, and facilitate resolution of defects in collaboration with business and technology teams.
- Develop, maintain, and update UAT documentation including test strategies, plans, cases, execution results, and sign-off documents to meet audit and compliance standards.
- Coordinate UAT activities such as testing schedules and defect triage sessions, providing regular status updates to stakeholders.
- Support remediation efforts by identifying system or process gaps and validating fixes.
- Provide project support throughout all phases including planning, requirements review, testing, implementation, and post-production validation.
- Manage the Analytics team mailbox, triaging requests and ensuring timely responses and follow-up.
Must-Have Skills:
- 4+ years of experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Quality Assurance (QA), or Business Testing within Financial Services.
- Experience with Salesforce platform.
- Hands-on experience with RIS.
- Experience using Customer Connect.
- Strong understanding of Wealth Management applications, products, and business processes.
- Proven ability to execute UAT test cases, document results, manage defects, and validate system enhancements.
- Experience creating and maintaining test plans, test cases, execution results, and other UAT documentation for audit and compliance.
- Experience using defect tracking and test management tools.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Previous experience working at BMO.

- Experience collaborating effectively across business and technology teams to manage stakeholders and resolve issues.
- Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
