US - AML Business Analyst I:On behalf of our Financial Services client, Procom is searching for a US - AML Business Analyst I for a 6-month role. This position is a remote position but requires proximity to a hub in cities like Charlotte NC, Greenville SC, Mount Laurel NJ, Portland ME, or Atlanta GA for training and potential FTE conversion eligibility.
US - AML Business Analyst I - Job Description:
The US - AML Business Analyst I is responsible for supporting day-to-day business operations through data analysis, reporting, control monitoring, process oversight, and customer-focused support. This role involves reviewing business data, identifying trends or potential issues, monitoring the execution of established controls, and communicating findings to appropriate stakeholders within a leading FI organization.
US - AML Business Analyst I - Responsibilities:
• Review daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports to identify trends, exceptions, discrepancies, and potential areas of risk.
• Monitor the execution and effectiveness of established business controls and ensure required activities are completed accurately and within SLAs.
• Identify potential control gaps, process breakdowns, or operational concerns and escalate findings to management when appropriate.
• Utilize Power BI to review dashboards, analyze performance metrics, monitor trends, and communicate business results.
• Utilize SharePoint to maintain documentation, organize business information, support workflow activities, and manage access to shared resources.
• Research and respond to customer inquiries while providing timely, professional, and accurate service.
• Participate in process-improvement initiatives and provide recommendations based on data analysis, customer feedback, and operational observations.
US - AML Business Analyst I - Mandatory Skills:
• 1-3 years of experience in business analysis, operations, financial services, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI.
• Experience reviewing operational reports and identifying trends, exceptions, or discrepancies.
• General understanding of business controls, control execution, risk management, or quality-assurance processes.
• Demonstrated customer-service experience.
• Strong analytical, research, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
US - AML Business Analyst I – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Previous mortgage, lending, banking, or financial-services experience.
• Experience in risk, compliance, or business controls.
US - AML Business Analyst I – Assignment Length:
This is a 6-month contract position with the possibility of extension or conversion to full-time employment.
