Job Description

On behalf of our financial services client, Procom is searching for a US - Business Analyst III for a 1-year role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s New York office.

US - Business Analyst III - Job Description:
The role is within the Market Risk Control team, responsible for supporting risk management activities of the US Prime Services business. The successful candidate will identify, monitor, and mitigate counterparty market and credit risk arising from Prime Brokerage client activity, leveraging data and technology in a fast-paced environment.

US - Business Analyst III - Responsibilities:
• Monitor Prime Brokerage client portfolios and identify emerging risks.
• Apply sound risk judgment to manage day-to-day risk scenarios.
• Assist with margin, collateral, and risk management processes.
• Prepare risk dashboards and portfolio analytics for senior management.
• Utilize data analytics and automation to enhance risk monitoring.
• Collaborate with various teams to communicate risk issues and recommendations effectively.
• Develop and maintain quantitative risk analytics and reporting infrastructure.

US - Business Analyst III - Mandatory Skills:
• 5+ years of experience in market risk or related capital markets function.
• Strong understanding of capital markets products and risk management concepts.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL programming.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

US - Business Analyst III – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• CFA or FRM certifications.
• Experience in regulatory, technology, or business transformation initiatives.
