UX Designer - Senior:
On behalf of our Government Sector client, Procom is searching for a UX Designer - Senior for a 7 month contract role. This position is an onsite position at our client’s office.

UX Designer - Senior - Job Description:
The new UX Designer role involves critical UX design deliverables across multiple phases. The project focuses on designing solutions using UX best practices, including mobile-first and responsive design, to enhance public service delivery.

UX Designer - Senior - Responsibilities:
• Facilitate the kick-off meetings and user research activities
• Conduct usability testing and accessibility compliance testing
• Create and iterate on “clickable” prototypes based on user feedback
• Engage in user story creation, validation, and backlog management
• Conduct regular usability and accessibility testing sessions during the live phase
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure project progress

UX Designer - Senior - Mandatory Skills:
• 10+ years of experience in UX design
• Extensive experience with UX design best practices
• Proficiency in UX software like JustInMind, InVision, Sketch, Adobe Creative Cloud, Axure, Figma, and Zeplin
• Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
• Experience in facilitating user research and usability testing
• Demonstrated communication and mediation skills with business and core teams

UX Designer - Senior – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and JS skills (React, Angular, NodeJS)
• Experience in accessibility compliance testing
• Experience working on complex projects with distributed teams

UX Designer - Senior – Assignment Length:
This is a 7 month contract position.

UX Designer - Senior - Start Date:
ASAP.

UX Designer - Senior - Assignment Location:
St. Catharines/Toronto, Ontario, onsite.
