UX Designer - Senior:
On behalf of our Government Services client, Procom is searching for a UX Designer - Senior for a 13 month contract role. This position is onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

UX Designer - Senior - Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior UX Designer to lead the creation of user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces for our client's digital products. This project involves designing and iterating on the overall functionality of various products to ensure a seamless user experience.

UX Designer - Senior - Responsibilities:
• Create effective, user-friendly, and visually appealing interfaces
• Design user interfaces for digital displays, publications, media, and other creative materials
• Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate designs
• Conduct user research, interviews, and surveys; translate findings into sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes
• Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions
• Facilitate the client's product vision by researching, sketching, prototyping, and user-testing experiences

UX Designer - Senior - Mandatory Skills:
• Relevant experience creating GUI designs based on user interaction and performance
• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools, including Figma
• Experience designing for web and mobile applications
• Experience with user experience design research methods such as user interviews, usability testing, and A/B testing
• Ability to work with Ontario Design system
• Experience working in an agile, sprint-based development environment
• Strong communication skills for conveying design concepts

UX Designer - Senior – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Knowledge of accessibility testing and meeting WCAG 2.1 AA requirements
• Ability to work with the Ontario Design system
• Experience with complex design challenges, especially with legacy systems
• Knowledge of digital service standard
• Prior Public Service/OPS experience

UX Designer - Senior – Assignment Length:
This is a contract position.

UX Designer - Senior - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada; onsite position with 5 days onsite required.
