Senior UX Designer:
On behalf of our Government client, Procom is searching for a Senior UX Designer for an 8-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Senior UX Designer - Job Description:
The Senior UX Designer will be engaged in a project following the Ontario Digital Service Design Playbook, focusing on creating user-centered solutions. The project involves applying UX best practices to both existing and new digital services, ensuring they meet user needs and business goals.

Senior UX Designer - Responsibilities:
• Facilitate project kick-off meetings and user research activities
• Produce deliverables such as Business Model Canvas, User Personas, and User Storyboards
• Lead the creation and validation of user stories within Agile ceremonies
• Conduct usability and accessibility compliance testing
• Continuously monitor and improve the service during the Live phase

Senior UX Designer - Mandatory Skills:
• Extensive experience with UX design best practices
• Strong understanding of mobile-first and responsive design
• Experience with UX tools like JustInMind, InVision, Sketch, Adobe Creative Cloud, Axure, Figma, and Zeplin
• 3+ years of experience in user-centered design processes and Agile methodologies
• Experience facilitating User Research and Usability Testing

Senior UX Designer – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (React, Angular, Node.js)
• Accessibility compliance testing experience
• Degree or certification in Usability, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or Technical Writing
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Senior UX Designer – Assignment Length:
This is an 8-month contract position.

ASAP.

Senior UX Designer - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days in the office.
