UX Designer - Senior:
On behalf of our Government Sector client, Procom is searching for a UX Designer - Senior for a 13-month role. This position is onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

UX Designer - Senior - Job Description:
This role involves working on user-centered design for digital products within the public sector. The UX Designer will focus on creating intuitive and visually appealing interfaces for web and mobile applications, ensuring a seamless user experience through user research and design iterations.

UX Designer - Senior - Responsibilities:
• Create effective, user-friendly, and visually appealing interfaces
• Design the overall functionality of digital products to ensure a great user experience
• Conduct user research, interviews, and surveys, translating insights into sitemaps, user flows, journey maps, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes
• Lead UX projects, design workshops, and alignment sessions with stakeholders and business users
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to convey design concepts and development processes

UX Designer - Senior - Mandatory Skills:
• Relevant experience creating GUI designs based on user interaction and performance
• Experience as a UX designer, interactive designer, UI designer, or similar role, designing for web and mobile applications
• Ability to define and lead UX projects and design workshops
• Skilled in conveying design concepts to diverse stakeholders
• Experience with the Ontario Design system or other similar design systems

UX Designer - Senior – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Knowledge of accessibility testing
• Experience with complex design challenges, especially with legacy systems
• Proficient in designing with accessibility in mind, meeting WCAG 2.1 AA requirements
• Prior public service/OPS experience

UX Designer - Senior – Assignment Length:
This is a contract position from September 2026 to October 2027.

ASAP

UX Designer - Senior - Assignment Location:
Toronto, Ontario, onsite 5 days a week.
