Vendor Manager:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Vendor Manager for a 3-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Vendor Manager - Job Description:
The Vendor Manager will be responsible for sourcing engagements, moving engagements to completion, including onboarding, renewals, order forms, and SOW. The role involves collaboration with business partners, technology stakeholders, and vendors to develop and execute sourcing strategies that deliver sustainable value.

Vendor Manager - Responsibilities:
• Act as a liaison with business partners and provide direction to enable TD and business-specific objectives
• Develop sourcing pipelines and category strategies for assigned technology categories
• Lead requirements gathering, supplier evaluation, and supplier selection activities
• Drive value through early engagement, market knowledge, and total cost of ownership considerations
• Lead RFx, supplier negotiation, and deal structuring activities
• Ensure work adheres to enterprise frameworks and methodologies
• Recommend and implement sourcing process improvements

Vendor Manager - Mandatory Skills:
• 8+ years of experience within strategic sourcing practices
• Strong negotiation skills (SOW’s, POC’s, MSA’s, NDA’s, commercial terms, pricing)
• Experience within a highly regulated environment
• Strong understanding of contract terms and supplier risk considerations
• Strong communication skills – written and verbal
• Self-starter with a high degree of initiative
• Strong stakeholder management

Vendor Manager – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Supply chain certifications
• Banking, financial, healthcare experience
• Experience with procurement tools such as Ariba and Coupa

Vendor Manager – Assignment Length:
This is a 3-month contract position with the possibility of extension based on business needs and performance.

Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This position is hybrid with 4 days in the office and 1 day working from home.
