Vice President I.T. Operations:
On behalf of our Consulting client, Procom is searching for a Vice President I.T. Operations for a 6 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Vice President I.T. Operations - Job Description:
This interim leadership role is focused on managing the organization's technology infrastructure and IT Service Desk. The Vice President will ensure secure, reliable, and scalable IT services, and will be responsible for the continuous improvement of infrastructure and cloud platforms. The role also involves coordinating technology supporting province-wide professional examinations and overseeing new technology acquisitions.

Vice President I.T. Operations - Responsibilities:
• Lead infrastructure and cloud operations ensuring high availability, performance, security, and scalability
• Own IT vendor management and manage the IT Operations budget
• Oversee enterprise application support and DevOps/release management
• Direct the IT service desk and end-user support function
• Partner with CIO, Cybersecurity, Enterprise Architecture, and Data teams
• Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT Operations team
• Lead disaster recovery and business continuity planning for technology systems
• Produce and track reporting schemas, KPIs, and SLAs for performance

Vice President I.T. Operations - Mandatory Skills:
• Minimum 10 years of progressive IT experience
• Proven experience managing enterprise cloud and on-premises infrastructure
• Demonstrated experience in enterprise application support and DevOps practices
• Experience implementing IT service management frameworks
• Strong people leadership experience
• Proven track record in managing IT vendor relationships and budgets
• Experience in disaster recovery and business continuity planning

Vice President I.T. Operations – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• ITIL Foundation certification
• PMP or similar project management certification
• Cloud certifications such as Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Experience with ITSM/ITIL best practices
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Vice President I.T. Operations – Assignment Length:
This is a 6  month contract position.

Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Hybrid with 3 days in office.
