Video Editor and Production Support Specialist:
On behalf of our Consulting client, Procom is searching for a Video Editor and Production Support Specialist for a 2-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

Video Editor and Production Support Specialist - Job Description:
As a Digital Video Editor, you will help bring the brand to life through compelling video content. Working closely with internal cross-functional teams, you will be responsible for video editing supporting internal and external initiatives.

Video Editor and Production Support Specialist - Responsibilities:
• Edit raw video footage into polished pieces using industry-standard software
• Create and integrate sophisticated motion graphics into video projects
• Collaborate with the video manager and other team members to ensure projects meet technical and creative specifications and enhance brand visibility
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and quality standards
• Implement feedback and revisions quickly while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
• Optimize video content for different platforms, including web and social media
• Ensure brand consistency in visual elements across all video and multimedia projects
• Assist in executing video shoots including lighting, sound, and camera operation; ensure high production value and brand consistency during filming sessions

Video Editor and Production Support Specialist - Mandatory Skills:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Video Editor
• Proven experience with video editing and motion graphics software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects)
• Strong storytelling skills and ability to translate complex ideas into engaging video content
• Proficiency in video production techniques, including filming, lighting, and sound
• Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and composition
• Strong communication and project management skills
• Experience in a corporate or professional services firm environment

Video Editor and Production Support Specialist – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience in color grading and sound design
• Experience with Workfront
• Knowledge of digital media formats and delivery specifications
• Prior corporate video experience
• A degree/certification in film production

Video Editor and Production Support Specialist – Assignment Length:
This is a 2-month contract position.
