As a visual designer, you can instinctively weave iconography, typography, colour, space and texture together to simplify and improve how our customers navigate our products and services. You’ll use your expertise to delight users with designs that inspire, engage and excite

• As a member of the Online Banking Team, this designer will be working on bank’s Digital Servicing experiences – creating simplified self-service online banking features to help fulfil our clients banking needs.

Details: 

• Hybrid, 4 days week in office, 88 Queens Quay W
• 12 months to start, 37.5 hrs/week

Role: This designer is responsible for Visual Design for the Digital Servicing Team – supporting 3 agile squads.
· They will apply visual design expertise to bring meaning and understanding to the digital experiences we create, establishing visual hierarchies of importance in order that our clients can engage more easily and in more meaningful ways with our digital products.
· This person will also participate in ideation and other collaborative activities, contributing her/his/their expertise to help broaden the group’s perspective on the work at hand.

Skills:
 

• BA/BS degree in Design (e.g. interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial), HCI, CS, or a related field or equivalent experience
• Portfolio that includes web and/or mobile design samples
• 4-5 years’ experience in Visual Design working on web and/or mobile design initiatives
• Ability to think in terms of components and modules as well as full screens
• Solid knowledge of Figma design tools (Mural nice to have as well - typography, grid systems, visual hierarchy, colour, white space, etc.)
• UserTesting.com principles
• Understanding of responsive design
• Experience in the agile process
• Elegantly deals with complex information, making it simple to comprehend · a willingness to understand complex business requirements within the highly regulated context of the bank
• Must be proficient in English for both written and verbal communication
• Strong presentation skills
