VP Financial and Regulatory Reporting:
On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a VP Financial and Regulatory Reporting for a 1-year role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

VP Financial and Regulatory Reporting - Job Description:
This role presents an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic Finance team as Vice President, Financial and Regulatory Reporting. The successful candidate will be instrumental in managing financial and regulatory reporting processes for Canadian legal entities, ensuring compliance with IFRS and US GAAP standards.

VP Financial and Regulatory Reporting - Responsibilities:
• Assist with the IFRS and US GAAP close for Canadian legal entities.
• Review local financial and regulatory reporting for Canadian legal entities.
• Assist in the management of regulatory examinations and audits.
• Participate in the review of year-end audited financial statements.
• Manage implementation of IFRS standards and new regulatory reporting requirements.
• Assist in investigations and address queries from various functional groups.
• Participate in projects as required.
• Proactively respond to changes in the regulatory environment.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.

VP Financial and Regulatory Reporting - Mandatory Skills:
• University degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
• CPA designation.
• At least 5 years of work experience in financial and regulatory reporting within the financial services industry.
• Knowledge of banking products and associated regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Advanced Excel skills.

VP Financial and Regulatory Reporting – Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to influence and gain support for objectives.
• Experience in managing regulatory examinations.

VP Financial and Regulatory Reporting – Assignment Length:
This is a contract position for up to 1 year.

VP Financial and Regulatory Reporting - Start Date:
ASAP.

Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This is a hybrid position with 3 days in the office.
